We did not stay at the hotel, just stopped in for lunch. It was a wonderful lunch. They do an over 60s special on a Friday. We had a three course lunch and every course was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

We came here as a family to celebrate a birthday. We had afternoon tea. The dinning area held a large family and still had room for others. I was pleasantly surprised at the vegan sandwichs, hot food and cakes. The venue is clean and modern and it was an enjoyable few hours. The staff were busy, but were still attentive and pleasant. I would happily come here again and recommend this venue.

Great to have a selection of vegan dishes to choose from. Really delicious options. I'm slowly working my way through the menu! Lovely friendly staff too. Relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant has always had a good reputation but I always found it rather expensive. However I went along at the invite of a friend who told me they serve small plates on "Pensioner Friday" and I was delighted to get a decent size of meal at a very affordable price! The food was fresh and piping hot, the coffee likewise, and the staff were lovely. This will now be a weekly lunch venue with my chums!

We had a lovely meal here for our anniversary. Excellent choices for vegetarians; we had a vegetarian haggis in whisky sauce, and a sweet potato burger. It was all excellent- although I could definitely have eaten more fries! Staff were super too👍

Have chosen the White Heather Hotel in Turriff on several occasions for food due to the friendly staff , warm and welcoming and clean environment and of course the amazing menu which offers up meals designed by the head chef and his team using the best in local produce to create dishes you won’t be disappointed with. The White Heather Hotel in Turriff is one gem you really should visit in Aberdeenshire .

Had a super comfortable weekend at the White Heather Hotel. Spotlessly clean well appointed room, wonderful bed and excellent shower. Breakfast is tailored to your choice and was excellent. High standards throughout the hotel with a great menu and very good wine choice.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, northing was too much trouble, first class.
Really enjoyed my stay🙂

My partner ordered macaroni and onion rings, was very nice, waitress was nice and polite. I ordered the Ribeye done medium with surf and turf, received it well done and tough as an old boot, had it sent back and received the same again as a replacement, cooked ever so slightly less well done but still incredibly tough and unpleasant. Owner/manager proceeded to tell me it was my opinion and I was wrong and that the steak was perfectly fine and he had no complaints before, they refused to taste the steak to see how terribly tough it was. The owner was incredibly arrogant towards me regarding the complaint and had the audacity to charge me full price for the steak. I had two bites over all and paid £36 for the privilege. Couldn't in good faith recommend the place. Owner needs to fix his delusional and arrogant behaviour. Update* After doing some research on the advertised "Black gold beef" they claim its all reared and grass fed in Aberdeenshire but I have found its a product of Woodford which are a company based down south, so it's blatant false advertising. Frozen, tough and chewy steak from England for £36 and they are situated in a farming town 6 miles from the best beef in Scotland, insulting really!

We enjoyed our meal (visit the hotel's website for menu). I had a standard fish supper after a large bowl of Cullen Skink...the tastiest Skink I've had for a good while. The fries with my fish were really great. My partner had salmon pasta which was equally tasty. Surroundings are a little basic but clean and moderately pleasant. The staff were very friendly and parochial as is to be expected from an eatery in a small farming town. The price was reasonable too. We'll be back now and again as the menu changes. I recommend the White Heather Hotel for a meal with your family or as a solitary experience.

Had a meal here. The food was good, drinks were meh. We booked a table for 16, which they said was no bother, but when we came in, we were all separated into different tables all over the room, while there was a table in the same room which would have had enough space for us all, that sat unused and empty.

I would 100% recommend the White Heather. It is a lovely hotel and restaurant. The rooms are spacious, stylish and well-appointed, and the bathrooms very clean and new. The full Scottish breakfast was the best we had in two weeks across Scotland! And the dinner was delectable. Gary Fisher is a fantastic general manager and made us feel so welcome. We wish we were there for longer, and hope to return one day!
